A compact pair of metal bodied vintage binoculars inscribed 'Field and Marine' and '6 lens' indicating better achromatic optical performance. Probably 1920s. In very good condition - a little dust internally. 5x2.5in when not extended. The case has seen better days; it has lost its top strap and the shoulder strap is a replacement.
